I apologise if this is in the wrong place. A friend of mine has registered here but has not posted yet. Is there any way to serach for his profile so I can PM him?

Well you need to know what his alias on this site is (there's no search by real names here)... you could type @their_alias in a post, and then click on that and it'll go to their profile. (like @Lonely_Traveller goes to yours)

Also, http://www.newbuddhist.com/profile/Username should work (that's how the @Username gets translated into a working URL I think).

I.e. http://www.newbuddhist.com/profile/Lonely_Traveller

You can use google to restrict your
search on newbuddhist.com only.
For eg, if you want to search for GUYC, you just google:
guyc site:newbuddhist.com
