Retreat in RI

edited March 2006 in Buddhism Today
Hi, I wasn't sure where this post belonged so I chose location. Does anyone have any experience/input about this group, center or teachers? It is a retreat that is happening close to home for me and I am considering attending. I am still in the "begining" of my practice and haven't really "settled" down with a tradition yet. Friends have warned that this center is considered "strict".

Thanks,

Emma

The tradition of Seung Sahn Sunim, which Providence Zen Center belongs to is, as far as I'm aware, a good place to practice. I certainly don't think you'll go far wrong attending this retreat Emma.

Thanks for your answer. The retreat was cancelled due to low registration anyway.
