Or perhaps it was Ajahn Brahm. It was like conditions to met in other to make a good choice. It went something like this: you need to make sure no one will get hurt as the result of your choosing, and... I don't remember the other condition. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I don't know if it's what you meant, and it seems like you're after a specific quote, but don't get hung up on a single goal or using the current moment as a means-to-an-end, as it is all there is =)

@sova Thanks, that was an interesting read. I actually remembered the other part. It says you have to see if your potential choosing gets you closer to the goal (Nibbana) or not. Don't quite remember the source yet, though...
Thanks a lot, @sova. That was insightful, and different from what I've been reading. This makes more sense, I think. Oh, and karma is usually on my mind. What I'm lacking is taking a wholesome course of action more often...
