Just try to find a meditater who hasn't found themselves at some time bored staring at a wall, a little patch of ground or nothing at all. Relaxing into that bordom or whatever arises in meditation is part of my zen practise. Eventually everything imaginable will visit a meditater.
One usefull aspect of bordom is that it is just an emotional signpost that demonstrates where I've not been willing to pay enough attention to what's in front of me!
