Buddhism and I Ching Divination

I've been using the I Ching lately, out of curiosity. I found a book called "The Buddhist I Ching." I didn't expect to find Buddhism connected to the I Ching, as I would think the Buddha would have discouraged the use of divination.

Any thoughts on Buddhism and using Divination?

What about Buddhism and the weather forecast?

The issues in my view would be whether one has to believe silly things to do divination, thus sinking deeper into samsara, and also, crucially, whether divination is accurate to any useful degree.

I used to have a bit of a complex about magpies (one for sorrow etc), which really wasn't very helpful. Also they would occasionally steal my watch when I was counting them... it may have been them who spread the rhyme in the first place.
