Sutra's on the fly?

I am studying the path of Green Tara; and have been internally chanting this, dut to what I do (police officer). Is this wrong? Shouldn't all sutra's, prayers and such be done in a sacred spot? Since I'm alway's on the go, (at home careing for my mother) and can't really do a sitting or lotus meditation, am I just waisitng effort and time? :banghead:

No, not at all. Any Mantra spoken with intention is meaningful. You mean the padre driving to work, reciting his Lord's Prayer, is whistling down the wind? Not at all. Recite, Enjoy, be mindful.

Intention is all. Every space is sacred.

I chant and do prayer beads. Meditate.
I do all I can at work, on the go, whereever.

So, if I'm wrong......then I dont want to be right! hahaha
I understand it's not formal/sacred many days,
but if you have a better way to apply Buddhism in
such difficult working conditions, please let
me know.
