Someone was asking about Buddhist universities in the US

Ran across this today: Hsi Lai University, one of 16 Buddhist colleges and universities operated by Fo Guang Shan, was built in Rosemond, California...one of the first Buddhist colleges in the United States. Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Buddhist studies, comparative religious studies, and a Master of Business Administration are available at the university.

That's really cool! I understand this is an excellent school.

The first Sangha I worked with was affiliated with FGS.
  • That's cool vinlyn. If I was in mental health I might go for a degree.

Incidentally, that temple was involved in a campaign finance scandal that involved Al Gore. Ultimately led to pleading the 5th Amendment...oops...there goes one Precept!
