prajna and samadhi

What is the difference between prajna and samadhi? If possible how does it relate to the five indiryas? (if you have heard of them). Is samadhi shamata and prajna vipashyana?

    It probably depends on tradition, but yes, I'd associate shamata ( calm ) with samadhi and vipashyana ( insight ) with prajna.
