I am not sure how widely the abduction of Madeleine McCann has been publicised outside the UK and Portugal. In view of the fact that we, as a group, cover so much of the world, I have felt it kind to share this email received today:

The world of blogging reaches far and wide, let's use it's power to get this into the news all around the world.
As you are aware my niece is still missing and I am asking everyone I know to send this as a chain letter

i.e. you send it to everyone you know, and ask
them to do the same, as the story is only being covered in Britain, Eire and
Portugal.

We don't believe that she is in Portugal anymore and need to get
her picture and the story across Europe and USA as quickly as
possible.

Suggestions are welcome.

    The story's being covered here in Canada. So terrible. I hope she's found soon.

    it's on every news station that I watch (in the US), including Fox, CNN, ABC, NBC, etc...
