Anyone know what in what suttra the Buddha explains metta meditation? I would like to see it.

    There are several. There is the Metta Sutta; which is basically a recitation to practice Loving Kindness Meditation. There are also the Brahmavihara Sutta {The Divine Abodes} and the Kakacupama Sutta {Parable of a Saw}. Probably more. The Vishuddhimagga, a work by Budgosa, outlnes the formal '6 kinds of persons' meditation.
