Private Message limit increased

I see no reason why you should all be limited to only 50 private messages.

I've increased the limit to 200.

if you have over 200, you have a problem and you need to organize yourself! :p

    I agree! If I ever get 50 private messages in a year---well---I would not know how to handle it! LOL!:hair:

    Click "Inbox" then "Start a New Conversation" button on the right.

    Note this discussion is from 2005 and has no bearing on our current setup.

    No, that's why it's called "PRIVATE message".

    it only says "send a message" at the profile page, and like your profile page, you can see messages on it from other people, how do you make it so no one but they see it?

    It doesn't show on my profile page. Are you sending from your own "inbox" page? (Not the recipient's inbox page or profile page).

    I thought you just went to your inbox and then clicked start a new conversation, then add the name of who you want to talk to right ? and only they can see what you type.

    Send a Message / Start a New Conversation are the same thing and are private.

    Thanks for expanding the PM mailboxes, admins. I haven't cleaned mine out in a long time, and it runneth over. This change came just in time. :thumbsup:

    Again, this has nothing to do with Vanilla, our current software. This is from 2005. Vanilla doesn't have a message limit.
