There's a ton of sanghas in the Boston area. I haven't been to nearly enough of them but...
I used to sit with a sangha affiliated with "Boundless Way" in Backbay at the Unitarian Church on Marlboro St. They've moved to a new home in Cambridge. Also in Cambridge there is the Zen Buddhist Center (or something like that).
I live in JP and I find it very hard to find a "convenient" sangha to attend. However, Boston definitely has a lot of people who get together to sit. If you find a good one Conrad, let me know, I'm always looking for new people to sit with.
I haven't met anyone here even from my same state yet, lol. I live in very far north eastern Minnesota, I'm about 10 miles from the Canadian border. Almost 300 miles NNE of Minneapolis.
