Our compassionate brain.

edited August 2012 in Buddhism Basics
Hi All

The other day I was talking to a physiologist on how our brain manages and processes our thoughts. For some you may have thoughts around anxiety, anger, depression, hatred, then other times our thoughts are one of compassion, love, and happiness.

He referred it to The old brain vs The new brain.

I'm sure some of you have some understanding of how our brain is set up to handle our thoughts and actions. For me this video has been really helpful and insightful, I have started becoming more mindfull on where my thoughts are coming from, that's for sure.

Enjoy...
