Happy Halloween.

Dear Friends, fellow muggles, drones, trolls, heretics and Hinayanists, ??

Happy Halloween. ???

Today is when the nagas, garudus and bodhis that go burp in the night are floating about (allegedly).

Do you celebrate by sacrificing a carrot or in some other way? ???

    From my more witchy days:

When the last rays of sun
    are swallowed by night,
    and the Horned God slumbers
    within the Great Deep,
    death pierces the veil
    as the Otherworld draws near.

    Fires bright and shadows long,
the veil now a trifle hurdle,
kith and kin and Sidhe roam freely
    over the darkened Earth
as our two worlds become one,
like a serpent devouring its own tail.

    We gather in celebration
in the time that is no time,
in the space between life and death,
to dance and drink and sing,
    and remember those since gone:
our souls united at summer's end.

When the last rays of sun
    are swallowed by night,
    and the Horned God slumbers
    in the Great Deep,
    death pierces the veil
    as the Otherworld draws near.

    We gather in celebration
in the time that is no time,
in the space between life and death,
to dance and drink and sing,
    and remember those since gone
until we all part and meet again.

    Happy Samhain! ??????
