Hey, I saw your post in the discussion about conflict, and I was wondering if you could remember where you read that story about the Buddha explaining to an angry man that he did not want his insults? I'd really like to read it myself.

    read the sutras for yourself(many of these thing these people post are not in line with the sutras)if someone tell you to not spread Buddhism it "unbuddhist" this is nonsense in the Majjhima nikaya the Buddha says to CONVERT EVERYONE this is not even including the mahayana sutras(we are to spread our faith its apart of the 10 Bodhisattva vows(lankavatara sutra) peace and love

THE LIONS ROAR OF QUEEN SRIMALA:laity are to teach the Dharma and teach tathagatagarbha THE HOLY TEACHING OF VIMALAKIRTI:great teachings very philosphical THE MAHAPARINIRVANA SUTRA:eveything you need to know about the Buddha and the Tathagatagarbha can be found in this book. al these books together will run about 1500 pages ALL of them can be found and read online FOR FREE simply type in EXAMPLE:LOTUS SUTRA TRANSLATION and you will find a translation of it to nread for FREE. If you chose to buy them then you can find them on amazon(not all are cheap though)
