    Narcissisim literally means love of oneself. Not productive love of oneself but strong attachment and obsession with oneself. It is an emotionally destructive state that masks a inner struggle to assert one's self-image while simaltaneously denying any form of empathy or understanding for others. It is a very difficult delusion to break.
