How do I post a link as a word in a sentence, instead of as an address?

as in......

If your chimp really needs grooming you can try here

instead of writing....

If your chimp really needs grooming you can try www.groomyourchimp.com

Thankyou

select the text you want to add a link to then click the icon that looks like a globe and a paperclip... then that's where you put the address.

...or Ctrl-K. Same as in Office.

Hmm, Ctrl-K doesn't work for me. (Nor does Ctrl-L, the other short-cut I've seen.) Is this windows-specific? (I'm usually on ubuntu.)

Belated Thanks, ShiftPlusOne! I've been using this feature a lot (Although it looks more like a Globe with Sunglasses, looking down, to me. I don't see the paperclip.).

BTW, your Username is kinda interesting. When you hold the shift key down, you automatically get the Plus sign. So when people abbreviate your username to Shift+1, do they not miss a subtle joke?

You'd be Shift=1! And a mere =1 would just be shiftless!

Or am I just not minding my own derned business here?

Ah, it's not a paperclip. What was I thinking? It's a chain link.

Lol, I think you're over thinking my username. It's just '!' expanded out.
