For summer I like a taco pizza: seasoned ground beef, onions, tomatoes, taco sauce

For winter I like: bacon, jalapeno, pineapple

  • I'm a plain jane just cheese kinda guy. I should make that vegan cheese, but I'm getting there (I'm a part time vegan trying to move to full time).
  • Dammit. Now I want some pizza.

OOPs shouldn't be buddhism for beginners. Usually I am more mindful.

Tummy full instead of mindful ha. The eight piece path?

I love the sound of your second pizza! Bacon, jalapeno and pineapple.....yum!!

My wife makes a nice pizza with hot salami, goats cheese (my favourite food!), mushroom and red capsicum (pepper).

My sister in law is Italian and turns up her nose every time I tell her how great pineapple on pizza is!

Anchovies go well too I find......

  • My toppings (pineapple, bacon, jalapeno) is a flavor explosion. Bacon is salty and savory, pineapple is sweet and sour, and jalapeno is plain spicy/hot.

  • Basil sounds delicious, @Vastmind. I always put that on my chicken parmigiana recipe, but I never thought of that for pizza. Brilliant, as the brits say ;)
  • toast bread, add cheese + stuff and sweet chilli sauce, microwave. Emergency pizza crisis solved . . . ;)

    Who said 'fish'? Me.
  • The secret I am speculating i sthe sweet chili sauce, @lobster. Sounds good.
  • Yes. The one I use is garlic and chilli and about 40% tomato paste. Hot. Yum. The street vendors in Italy serve a simple pizza that is little more than cheese and ketchup on toast, maybe garlic or olives, olive oil . . . anchovies, whatever is local . . .

    Try this sometime-
    Take a large, flour tortilla
Spread with olive oil (the better the better)
    Cover with spinach leaves
Cut Kalamatta olives and spread over top
Minced or pressed fresh garlic as desired
    Top with feta cheese
Sprinkle pine nuts over the top
Bake at 400 degrees for 5-7 minutes

Third wheel topping: 'Make me one with Everything'

Sun dried tomatoes in a tomato paste/chopped red & green peppers/diced olives/ mushrooms/ garlic minced so fine it's liquified/ sprinkled lightly with goat & blue cheese mix, roasted & sliced pine nuts/ pineapple slices and cooked on a porous clay pizza plate.

  • All of that at once, @how? That sounds truly epic!

    It is!
The term "orgasmic" comes to mind.
Can't take credit though as real the pizza queen is my partner whereas I am just the lowly tester.
  • Sounds like you have a good 'gig' as a tester how! ;)

  • @how, does she make her own crust? That's the barrier for me of home made pizza. My dad has a pizza stone and makes good crust. But myself I've only tried the Baboli crust and it's really not that good. So many elements that make a good pizza. I like to have a little more sauce than the delivery pizzas have.
  • Here is something my mom and I will try:

Vegetarian is good enough for me. :)
  • Alfredo sauce base topped with spinach, chicken, our cheese blend & cranberries. What me and my girlfriend had on our first date. Absolutely amazing
    JeffreyEvenThird
  • Onion, blue (mouldy?) cheese, mushroom, feta, and sometimes salami or pepperoni if I'm craving meat.
