Impermanence (Anicca)

BunksBunks Australia Veteran
edited June 2018 in Mindfulness

I found out yesterday that a local Tibetan Nun I know passed away.... :(

Went to the doctor with sinus trouble.

Was told it was cancer.

Dead three weeks later!

A lesson for us all.

Cherish every moment!!!!

    Sad to hear, @Bunks ?

Impermanence is something we all tend to forget about far too often while wrapped up in our samsaric lives. In fact my teacher has repeatedly said that it is constantly remembering and reflecting upon impermanence that really spurs our practice on.

Shame that we need these kinds of reminders all too often.

I have said it before, and I will say it again.
I have tea with Yama, every day.

I would respectfully suggest others invite him for a cuppa, too... ;)

(I would add, the tea is often not as nice, with the second cup....)

    Yum Yama B)

She normally eats all the cake, with the words, 'You won't be eating that where you are going!' ... and scoffs the lot. Empty or not. Some Yidams ... still ... she sure knows how to throw a party
