I’ve been reorganising my library and have put a bunch of beginners dharma books into recycling cupboards where others can pick them up. To my surprise most of them were gone within a few days... good deed for the day!

I’ve found donating a big chunk of my book collection and seeing other people pick them up to be quite rewarding... it’s not just the dharma books which are finding grateful uptake, but a lot of the classic sci-fi is disappearing quickly off the shelves too.
I’ve hung on to a few specials, like Tolkien, Gene Wolfe and Ian M Banks, just for a rainy day.
