child abuse as karma?

Some believe that abused children are suffering the results of bad karma from previous lives. Does this belief justify child abuse? If so, is it logical proof that a belief in karma from one life to the next is total BS?

    Explaining away child abuse as bad Karma is incomplete if that explaination of it also gets translated as a justification for it.

    Absolutely, unequivocally not.

    If so, is it logical proof that a belief in karma from one life to the next is total BS?

    That, if I may say so, is a redundant question.
    And this is why.

    Because it cannot be answered.
    The Buddha strongly advised that to try to work Kamma and its complexities out, was a pointless, fruitless and vexatious task.

    Don't even go there.
