As we know everything changes, except human stupidity/ignorance … though we might be undergoing a major change there too. Hopefully.
There are many changes on the path of life, the universe and everything. Here are some factors/possibilities:
- Psychosis. Break down, build up.
- Drugs. Forced change. Cope. Give up.
- Ageing. Body, hormonal effects. Settle. Accept. Continue.
In Buddhist terms, we exist in/travel the path. Find the changed. Continue until changing.
Personally I can verify the veracity and potential of the various dharma orientations for change.

Change is inevitable...Suffering optional...
It is always a challenge to determine the right dharma wisdom for changing circumstances. Sometimes our knowledge of the dharma is insufficient, sometimes our wisdom is insufficient.
But a common sense interpretation of a few basic truths of the dharma will get you a long way, and often also takes time to ripen in the mind, revealing new aspects as time passes.
Major life events like an episode of psychosis or the onset of ageing often require a variety of approaches to tackle them, medical, lifestyle, and more.
Lke coins, change is often cyclical. It comes, it goes, then comes around again. Resistance to change is futile.
Always be sure to carry small change in your pocket.
You never know when you'll appreciate it.
Viparinama-dukkha is the suffering of change.
In particular we don't like the transition from sukkha to dukkha. However if you buy into it, some change adds up to dukkha is sukkha. Who trains this way?
For many of us recording our ignorance, which we may mistake for wisdom can be helpful. For personal example:
Whoever thinks they leave The Path, is not yet aware that, 'wherever you go, there you are' …
