Conviction, a verse

AN5.38
A massive tree
whose branches carry fruits & leaves,
with trunks & roots
& an abundance of fruits:
There the birds find rest.
In that delightful sphere
they make their home.
Those seeking shade
come to the shade,
those seeking fruit
find fruit to eat.

I really like the poem from this sutta. I wanted to try a verse...

A coral reef
Whose rock and shell carry algae & tunnels
With tunnels and walls
& abundance of algae
The fish find rest
In that delightful sphere
they make their home
Those seeking shelter
come to the shelter
Those seeking algae
Find algae to eat

Anyone else want to try it out?

  • federicafederica Seeker of the clear blue sky... Its better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt Moderator

    A massive heart
whose branches carry life-giving blood and air.
    with arteries veins and capillaries
    & an abundance of emotions
    There the mind finds rest.
    In that delightful sphere
    it makes its home.
    Those seeking solace
    come to the heart,
    those seeking love
    find solace.
