    Hello Jeroen

Apologies for late reply. I was struggling with sell-care and having a compassionate ear for others. Unfortunately, I've discovered putting myself last is rather detrimental, therefore Im unable to work, care for myself, or others in the long-run. I wonder what Buddha would say? Lama Zopa Rinpoche always says to work for others, however, The I in myself struggles to find a balance. Have you struggled to maintain your Buddhist beliefs? If you haven't Jeroen, I rejoice in your happiness 😊

I’ve found that an inclusive path suits me best, with a bit of buddhism, a bit of advaita vedanta and a few modern strains mixed in. But I think you are right, you have to care for yourself before you can care for others… for me that means getting enough rest first of all. Then making tea for everyone! I think Buddha would agree, he was always teaching the Middle Path.
