King Crimson was the intellectually progressive part of my musical heritage. In The Court was life-changing. I have been with them every step of their existence. Mr. Fripp has now added 3 drummers and with a 4th if needed. Adrian Belew will return in 2018 after an email issue. I have met David Singleton, Robert's partner in DGM and Robert's guitar tech. All of the UK people are kind and helpful. I shoot concert photography and specialize in Drummer Photography. King Crimson does not allow photos but they did allow me on stage shots of gear before the band in Chicago. My website: Drummer Photographer.
It was The Beatles and Stones fault that I became obsessed with my hair and style. Growing up my step father demanded I cut my hair. I was under his roof and would look the way he wanted. Really? I ended up quitting high school and became a roadie in a band for a year...
Here is a brief time line.
I was the "real me" form 99-12 thus I decided to grow my hair out for the last time.
I calculated I have 17.8 years in this body. At 1/4 " a month I will be 70 to get it back.
I lived with Christian guilt for 50 of my 63 years. I was raised Presbyterian and learned to make paper airplanes out of offering envelopes and threw them from the church balcony.
Church and the sermons made no sense. In late 69-73 I became a causality of the Jesus movement (US only?). I tried for yrs to be saved, etc. What was I suppose to ask for??
During that time I got into George Harrison's solo records ... I felt a higher power touching me and opened me to Eastern practices and images.
Also in 1970 Andwella's "World's End" referenced what seemed to be the same Lord...
"I sing to you with no shoes on my feet ain't nobody in this world I'd rather be...but before my day is here gonna listen to the people that makes it the world's end..."
