Is it Biologically unhealthy to not be around a certain number of people in a group?

edited March 2011 in General Banter
Because we are social animals.. What if you spent your time, 95% around just 2 others.. like your parents per say.. Could this be deemed 'unhealthy'? or maybe better put, just not the best for you?

First of all, moved from 'Modern Buddhism'. Don't know what it had to do with that...
Secondly, vis-a-vis your second post, we have a thread going on 'loneliness vs solitude'.
Could the question not have been asked in there?

Would you like to pose it in there?
It's a detailed and interesting thread.....
