Hey Sangha!
Any recommendations on good texts/references for bringing Buddhism into a leadership position? Thanks in advance :)
All the best,
Todd

The Diamond Cutter by Geshe Michael Roach
  • I have a chapter by M. Roach and the diamond business in an anthology about incorporating Buddhist principles into daily life. I'm glad to see the material has been expanded into a book, thanks for this, aMatt. And it looks like the book covers some of the moral issues that get raised about using Buddhism to make a lot of money (that criticism came up about the diamond-business story). Does the book also cover personnel management? That might be more what Swing is looking for. In any case, it's a fascinating story, and the book looks great.

It does cover that, in a very practical way.

Thanks to all for the great recommendations. I am looking at personnel management and am looking at ways to incorporate a good Buddhist perspective in leading, motivating and if necessary disciplining those that work under me. Looking to be effective yet compassionate :)
    All the best,
    Todd
