Just found out a little bit ago that a very dear friend was killed yesterday flying a glider up at the glider club we both belong to. A stall/spin accident on takeoff. Meir leaves a lovely wife Debora and two sons - both attending Harvard University. He taught international finance at Virginia Tech. He will be sadly missed...
