    Very informative, thank you. I had always wondered what exactly those of the pureland believe. I had always thought they were similar to the Nichiren school of thought. I look forward to learning more about Pure Land practice.

    I have no idea at this stage, but whether you want to do it here or in the Pureland yields the same result.

Among others are Patriarch: Hui-Yuan (334–416, AD), Patriarch: Shan-Dao (AD 613-681), Patriarch: Cheng-Yuan (712-802, AD), Patriarch: Shao Kang ( 770-805, AD), Patriarch: Yan-Shou (904-975, AD), Patriarch: Lian-Chi (1532-1612, AD), Patriarch: Xing-Ce (1627-1682, AD), Ji-Xing (1741-1810, AD), Yin-Kuang (1861-1941, AD).
