Evolution is always a fact these days. Go Science!

Why to go only so little in time.

Science has showed us how molecule has evolved from the big bang.

Then protein ,deoxyribonucleic acid and to fish is just a small step.

IT can be said that everything evolved from Hydrogen gas.

Fascinating isn't it? we're literally made of the debris from super novas.

Yay star stuff! I guess teachers don't lie when they say everyones a star!

So to the universe: free electrons (and, to a significantly lesser extent, free protons) were the '' the fish " from the first post. :buck:
  • Sad, still till somebody comes with better theory about a brain and consciousness we have no choice but to take it into the account... :banghead:
  • The gloss for this is "ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny."

Embryological parallelism is just a hypothesis.

    And, I hope wrong.

    :rocker:

PLS don't quote human 'tail' in the embryo.

@tess, evolutionary-developmental genetics is a thriving field and technically and conceptually very fruitful. :)

And not far from ideas of Buddha.

I am sorry to repeat this phrase: If you are open minded to the limitation of the ancient language and metaphors. It seems that Buddha had a more clear understanding then most of the religions.

At the same time, he was a visionary to some of the developments of science.

  • Science rediscovers Buddha's teachings and present them in a more visual way.

    Agreed!
It's amazing how connected science and Buddhism is.

How does hydrogen abiogenesis and an innumerable number of infinitely old consciousnesses bind together, exactly? I always love to view Buddhism through the scrupulousness of modern science but nearly always stumble into the pit of a collective Vedantic-esque consciousness, or is this simply the folly of relying on empiricism?
  • Please don’t forget that hydrogen abiogenesis is just a theory.
The whole concept how life was created from non-life is just a speculation.

What do you mean by infinitely old consciousnesses?

AS to Vedantic-esque consciousness – science did not come with the answers. Nevertheless, more recent reaserch data gives us more reasons to dismiss is it then take it into the account.

Yes but the mystery is that millions of parameters had to meet, to come up with life.

OR taking into account multiply universes and large numbers / probability/ - it meant to be.

However, the big question remains: WHY?

Oh, time for a :coffee: cos my brain starts to :banghead:
  • Ah, I feel like a mad nerd scientist when I read things like this. I want to cackle madly and demand more! More! Give me your string theories! Is that a quantum physics book? Give it to me! I just eat up information on evolution, origins, space etc. I am going to be so mad if I die... and don't get some answers. Just a little tour on the history of all.this.stuff. It's so fascinating and equally frustrating.
