A Robes Question

So I was looking at pictures of Tibetan Buddhist monks. And I couldn't help but wonder: Are those robes comfy? They look super comfortable, like being wrapped up in a blanket :) Maybe I only thought about this because I'm so tired. I didn't sleep well at all last night thanks to some restless leg syndrome I had going on.

  • Can't speak for Tibetan, but the Korean robes are extremely comfy. The pants are very loose and tied at waist and ankle with cloth belts. The only problem, I was never able to make it though a meal without dipping those big floppy sleeves in the soup bowl.

Haha, an amusing story. I was curious about all the robes, so I appreciate the response :)

I figure they have to be comfortable because you can't be distracted by the itchiness of your robe while you meditate ;D
