I Doser, binaural beats with effects similar to drug use

i know we've had a few posts on binaural beats here before, but i stumbled upon this website the other day and thought it was just too weird. I Doser has downloadable mp3s with effects that claim to mimic marijuana, alcohol, peyote, absinthe, cocaine, oxy, and many more.

i'm sort of skeptical on the whole binaural beats thing in general, let alone whether or not you can find one to affect you in the same way that drug use would. and it's not just drugs, if you check out their CDS/MP3s page, they have beats for orgasms and "first love". they even have a "gaming pack" which is supposed to enhance your gaming experience, lol.

what do you guys think about this? has anyone tried this before? binaural beats or I Doser? it sounds crazy, but i'm almost curious enough to just try it. the concept that an audio file could induce different emotions/experiences intrigues me.

  • Yea ive DL this for free at one point, years ago. And its crap. Its nothing like taking a drug. From what I remember you do feel a bit weird/off for a little bit but its nothing amazing. Dont give them money! unless it costs $0.10.

haha, thank you for your review. surprisingly, i've read quite a few reviews saying that this really does work, but i am curious just how much of this could be placebo effect. i feel pretty certain that if i wanted to, i could probably convince myself that i felt sort of "high" or something. i've checked out some youtube binaural beats, and i guess it does make you feel sort of "off" but i don't think i ever put a full effort into it, so i don't know if it's possible to maximize the effect to the level that they describe. and for the record, i'm not just interested in the drug ones, i find the entire concept of binaural beats interesting, it was just the drug ones that seem the most outlandish.
