  • This is great, Jeffrey. It's good to focus on the positive, and to be grateful for the simple things. In fact, I second everything on your list. :) Well, except for the coffee. A nice rich mug of tea with milk, put me down for that. :om:

So, I take it you're feeling better, Jeffrey? Or you've found a way to work yourself out of your funk? Thanks for the reminder to express gratitude every day. They say a regular practice of that can really make a difference in one's outlook.

Its hard to explain the funk. Its like low prana rather than gloominess. I want to do things but it is like pain in my body. It feels like the opposite of a sigh. You know how with a sigh you are letting go of tension. This is like stale tension that is draining you. No ideation just bad body feeling..

Try getting a massage. It really gets the circulation going, and can also purge some old stale emotional stuff.
  • Nice list Jeffrey. For me being able to eat good food, listening to music and staying active is what can charge me up again to do what I need to do. A massage does also help if you can afford it once a month or when you need it.
  • Jeffrey, have you tried acupuncture? What people don't know about acu, is that it can help mental health and emotional problems, as well as physical health issues. And certainly, acupuncture works with the body's energy system. The challenge is to find a good acupuncturist. The best ones are from taiwan or Hong Kong, or have trained with someone from there. It's the old Taoist stuff that really works. Mao purged that, so the "Traditional Chinese Acupuncture" that's taught these days is anything but "traditional". Japanese acupuncture is impressive, too, because it evolved out of the old Taoist techniques.

I'll have to think about that. I have a phobia about needles.
  • The Japanese have a technique called "non-insertive acupuncture". The needles work in your energy field, and never touch your skin, or at least, don't get inserted into the skin. You don't get stabbed.

Another alternative would be acupressure. Like acupuncture, but the practitioner just uses his/her fingers on the pressure points.

I don't know how to display video but here is the link. I have heard many renditions of this tune coming to me throughout my life. It is my favorite song.
