Do you think Bhutan is a good country to learn Buddhism?

I heard it's the last Shambala kingdom and the teachings + culture is well preserved.

  • What does that mean, "the last Shambala kingdom"? The culture is certainly well-preserved, the king made sure of that (when there was a king). Is your question about possibly going there to study Buddhism? That's not possible; tourist access to Bhutan is restricted, and it's very expensive. Only formal tour groups are allowed AFAIK, and the per diem expenses are prohibitively high (for a reason: this is how they prevent being overrun by Westerners looking for easy drugs and so forth, as happened in Nepal and India). This is one way they keep the culture and values well-preserved.
