Meditation like any other form of mental exercise is a method to focus or brain exercise and in no way associated with Buddhism .
In fact in my current awareness , nothing can or able to be associated to purity .
In my opinion , Buddhism in current world is mis-lead and is wrong to associated this great energy of purity to meditation / martial art / any monks talks / text / charity works etc .
  • JeffreyJeffrey Veteran
Ok goshiki. Could you share with us what you have learned about purifying?
  • Learning buddhism is on-going process as long as I am ready to learn it from you , from tree , from pen on my table etc . So sir , I am different person each second and my opinion / belief / awareness is different every second as long as I am ready to accept and learn to move to higher awareness to be closer to purity .
I cant tell you what I had learn but I can tell you it all will be "empty" one time in the future perhaps in millions birth/death purification process .
  • JeffreyJeffrey Veteran
Could you please give an example of what you are learning?
  • Blackberry. :-/
  • JeffreyJeffrey Veteran
what does that mean simple witness?
  • I am learning to understand more and more on all my emotions / love / hate / desire / compassions / determination / greed / ego etc by observing from nature , by learning / understanding it from all living or non-living each moment in my life so that I will understand all these awareness , so by understanding it , I perhaps be able to eliminate it and free of it . If one time in the future I am totall awake , free of all these awareness , no more love /hate / emotions . I will be pure and in emptiness - the original pure energy -The Buddha .
  • JeffreyJeffrey Veteran
Have you been successful in reducing your emotions?
  • Buddhism is about self journey / self purification / self improvement . Is not how much you give or how much you receive but is all about learning from each other in our journey .
All living and non-living is like flowing in a same river together towards sea . No one is connected to each other but all on same journey toward final destination - The Buddha .
In Buddha , nothing is connected even our body is not belong to us .

Can you give me examples of some of the improvements you have made? Have you been successful?
  • "Success" is not the word but my awareness in Buddha did help and speed up this process .
  • I cant tell it to you or even to myself simply because I wish not to know my previous awareness .
No I will never be successful , no one will able be successful even for Mr Siddharta . I am still full of "rubbish" that perhaps need billions of birth/death process to be clean .
But I believe by sincerely accept same and equal to all , learn / know by giving my sincere / equal love to all will move me to higher awareness closer to purity.
  • So sir , no one can be so-so sure call themself "teacher" of Buddhism even for Mr Siddharta as no human will be in purity .
  • JeffreyJeffrey Veteran
Could you describe for me what you mean by your awareness in buddha?
  • JeffreyJeffrey Veteran
How does it feel for your awareness in buddha? Do you feel an improvement now?
  • edited July 2011
Sir , if you keep on focus on "right or wrong" , "better/worst" based on your knowledge like how you make your decision on what shirts or pant suitable for you , what food makes you healthy , you will never "get out" from your nature and know buddha .
Knowing Buddha is from your awareness NOT by accepting "information" or knowing knowledge from others .
Start accepting youself no greater than anything that anything have their own nature and is equal as you . See yourself in all , learn your emotion from them and the more you "respect" them , the more you know yourself . The more you know yourself , the more you know the Buddha energy in you . Buddha is always in us , we just forget to know it due to our own ego / pride / selfiness .
  • JeffreyJeffrey Veteran
What do you know about yourself? What is the buddha energy?
  • JeffreyJeffrey Veteran
It sounds like what you know is that you are equal to dirt. How does that feel? Is it a good feeling to know that you are equal to dirt? Is it satisfying to know that?
  • JeffreyJeffrey Veteran
What is it like to be more pure? Are you improving in purity?
  • Buddha is original pure energy of emptiness , In fact I believe is great portion of it in us but we have our pollutant that is all our emotions , hate , ego , selfiness , compassion that form our awareness , that makes us believe "who" we are . Our awareness ( all our emotions / feeling/knowledge etc ) is atually our life . Human are "too" proud of their life infact in Buddha our life is actually pollutant .
We must learn to free ourself from all our awareness ( the pollutant ) to be pure and in emptiness - The Buddha .
  • Human , all living or non-living is and always will be improving to purity . Some makes "wrong turn" due to desire etc and delay its purification process but Buddha is final destination for all .....sooner or later .
As I perhaps took longer more suffering road , you perhaps took shorter , less suffering road .
In Buddhism , there are "no suffering " . All kind of suffering should already end after being explained by Mr Siddharta 2500 years ago . It was because his finding was wrongly "quoted" that cause all these suffering of death / birth / survival / old age / sick continues till now .
  • Indeed I am equal to anything even to my own shit . What is the different ? Who am I ? What can possibily make me think I am better than shit ?
In Buddhism how can I learned or know Buddha if I think I am better than anything ?
  • JeffreyJeffrey Veteran
Have you had any success in reducing your emotion goshiki?
  • I dont know myself but making afford to get out from myself . Buddha in my current opinion is original source of pure energy of emptiness . all living or non-living is polluted and evolved / changing shapes / transformed to be pure , to be empty , to be Buddha .
  • No , if I have I dont think I am writing so much here......right ?
  • The reason I am writing here is to learn from others , trying to move myself to higher awareness .
  • JeffreyJeffrey Veteran
cool. I was just confused what you were doing. It sounded like you were blowing smoke up our butts. But yeah we would all like to feel more pure. I hope that you receive success and happiness in purification. Serva Mangalam, may all be accomplished.
  • thanks bro.....same to you .........

  • @Jeffery Simple=Simplicity is the source of being. Witness=Is as close to being who we truly are during meditation: "Witnessing what is on the screen of the mind until it dissipates upon awareness or deepens upon it, depending, without allowing it to do fine who we truly are. Either way we are still the beings who witness it, and this is done by simplicity. SimpleWitness :-)

@jll Thank you for the link, my generous friend. (-:

  • She is worth listening to. Her lecture teaches the purpose for allowing the mind to be cleansed and that is why we should meditate. She speaks with clarity. Listening to her brings so much joy. Thank you for sharing, jll.
