Got a seiza bench - what a difference!

I'm fairly flexible, but being "of a certain age" I've got a few aches and pains now and then. I didn't realize how uncomfortable I really was using a basic zafu until I got my seiza bench today. What a huge difference! If you have any low back issues, I highly recommend it. I got an Omni Bench (widely available, but check prices, they vary). Very well made, sturdy, and beautiful to look at.

  • Oh, yes! I got a seiza bench earlier this year and it makes a huge difference for my back (not to mention legs).

  • Being 6'4" by the time I was 14 or 15, I have awful knees from my growth spurts. Any time I squat or bend them and unflex they crack and pop and whatnot. I bought a nice big buckwheat hull zafu. It still kills my knees and feet. Maybe a seiza bench would be better?
  • My legs never go to sleep or ache like they used to now that I use the seiza bench. I wish I had started off with it in the first place!
