I think my parents are Christians and haven't told me, are they using this on me?

Should I be worried about this? They are sooo nasty to me sometimes, are they using it against me?

    Have you asked your parents if they are christians? Whats going on here? Sounds like your parents have made some poor behaviour and you are frustrated? But what is this bit about Christianity? Jesus taught love and morality.

    Just confront them about it. Chances are though that either they are just being assholes, or you're perceiving slights against you that just are not there. I don't know, you did not give enough information on the situation for us to be of any help.

    Why does it matter if your parents are Christian? Does it change you? If they truly are Christian, they won't care if you're Buddhist. Sadly that's not usually the case with many "Christians", but that's another story...

    I guess I'm worried that they are using it falsely against me, like if I was gay then I don't get it, that's not the case but a good example of how I'm feeling.

    hmm...what if you did the unthinkable, and one day sat down for a talk with them, and said you've been feeling a lot of meanness coming from them, and you don't understand why. You could tell them how it makes you feel: unwelcome, or scared to be around them, or unloved, whatever. Get really open-hearted about it, that can be disarming, and might (?) help them open up.

    or...not. But it might be worth a try.
