Would it be fine to flex your muscles, while sitting or lying down for exercise?

Go for it. I'm always flexing my muscles and admiring them. If you do it too much in the gym though people will stare ;) .
  • You can't sit, stand, lie, squat, or do much of anything else in a 1g environment without flexing muscles somewhere in your body. Maybe floating in a pool, but even then, your heart, your diaphragm, your other respiratory muscles, your arteries (which are all muscles) are all flexing and extending constantly.

So yes, it's perfectly okay :)
  • Try it and report back with how it went?
