My first YouTube video, made by little old me! :)

It's not about Buddhism - in fact it's about home education. But I thought I might share it with you all anyway. :)

  • That is quite cool little old you!! lol. What was the intention behind it, was it for a project for college/universty or something, or was it purely for your self pleasure? Kudos to you though
  • Just a creative outlet for my personal enjoyment. It was good to play with a different medium of expression for a change - I'm usually a writer.
  • What program did you use to create your video? I must say, for it being a first production it is something to be proud of.

All that's involved is choosing sets and actors, some typing and putting in commands for movements, facial expressions etc.
  • Xtranormal is great! I haven't had a chance to play with it, but I've seen some outstanding results. I didn't know they had English accents!

    Nice job Vix :)

  • Thanks! And if those English accents aren't English enough, there is also the option for 'Queen Elizabeth English'. :D
  • There's a hilarious Xtranormal video about an anesthetist and a surgeon discussing a potential surgery patient. At one point the term "asystole" (meaning lack of a heartbeat), which is pronounced 'AH-SIST-o-lee', is used. The computer voices in Xtranormal pronounced it "ah-sist-OH-lee", so now everybody I know in the anesthesia department says it that way :)
  • LOL, excellent!!
  • Found it. It's actually British, since "anaesthesia" and "orthopaedics" are spelled using the British spellings (with more vowels than are strictly necessary) :)

    This is really cool!:)

Either that or Americans are too lazy to use all the letters. :D;)

  • We seem to get along without the extra vowels. We used to airdrop vowels to Bosnia. They appear to be in need of them :)
  • Hehe, very witty. :)
