i think this is a compliment
I have now 2 schools (after school care programs) and the one school I recenty lost due to structural changes was very sad. The staff and the kiddos, I am gonna miss them as my most 'huggable site'. I was deeply affected at how much they expressed that they would miss me. They don't dislike M but they wanted me to stay with my style of management
Then yesterday I was at one of my schools and we were calling to add children to our program when the staff helping me gave me a compliment. At the end of last year we were not sure who would get which schools in the restructure and it looked like my coworker M woudl have that school. My staff said she was ready to quit (after 5 years) based on that one change. She is a good worker but often is not seen that way and I trust and listen to her.
