I recently learnt you big lesson in life that helps vastly. I had accepted that my left hand would most likely be rendered useless for the rst of my life as it was not responding to nerve treatment and if anything getting worse. My GF and people kept saying, ''you are a young man, you should worry about losing function of a limb at your age.' I always thought or responded with something similar as, 'well it has happened now so worrying or fretting about it won't help. quite the opposite.'

So I just learned how to do daily things with my crippled hand and got on with it. Now nearly three months down the line I nearly have full function and feeling back in it without seeing the doctor anymore, so it has come as more of a surprise and a gift as I had already accepted it's loss.
