windows 7 function keys

I am using windows 7 on a mac and the function keys do such things as adjust volume and brightness. I know how to revert to normal F keys in mac operating system. But the windows 7 side I don't know. The big problem is when gaming you need the F keys say to drink a healing potion, but in my game the function keys are tied to brightness and volume and so forth.

I know this is an odd question (for here) but I figure there are a few tech geeks on newbuddhist!
