Why Do I Find the Floor Better For Sleeping?

I have often found myself in the past couple of weeks moving from my bed half way through night and walking into the living room and sleeping on our tiled floor. Even though cockroaches creep me out and there are poisoness centipeeds around, I prefer the tiled floor rather than the new comfortable bed. It i strange, I cannot see why I do this. I am barely conscious when I do move to the floor as I wake up part of the way through the night. hmmmm :screwy:

  • Who knows? Almost guaranteed to upset your girlfriend in any case.
  • bahaha, ah yes I guess if it is a continued thing. But just like at this very moment I have awoken from a nap on the floor. I can see how monks do not mind it, people if they think about having to sleep on the floor almost recoil at the noion. It's not too bad, and I guess it is better for your posture.
  • The tile floor is cooler? Your new bed isn't firm enough, so your back is sending you subtle signals that it wants a firmer surface? Did you used to move to the floor before you got the new bed? I'm guessing not, or we would have heard about it. So maybe there's something uncomfortable about the new bed.
  • Well before the bed we lived in a guest house, now we have our own house. When we moved in it was totally unfurnished and stayed that way for a 3 days. So we slept on the living room floor. I do not see much wrong with the bed, it is pretty firm and I never wake up with pains from it, I just have this likeness for the floor haha. Maybe I use to be a dog or a monk in a past life..
