Golden Light Sutra

Dear friends,

As you may know, Lama Zopa Rinpoche had a stroke this spring. Many students and friends are doing different practices for him, and today there was a request from some of them saying that he'd especially appreciate the Golden Light Sutra.

If anyone is so inclined, it's a very interesting text and has now been translated into quite a few languages:

Lama Zopa is dear to my heart for his extensive compassionate work with animals - and of course people. But I think for anyone feeling some "loneliness" or lack of caring in Buddhism, he's an excellent teacher to read or study from, because he seems (to me) to spend just about every waking moment of his day helping people and animals.

Incidentally, this is the picture that did it for me:

Lama Zopa as VERY big into blessing animals :)

Hope you enjoy the sutra.
