Namaste' Salutation

edited December 2011 in Buddhism Basics
I know this is more of a Hindu salutation, but I heard this first from my yoga teacher, then became interested in meditation because of that experience, then found my way to Buddhism so I connect the word with Buddhism. My interpretation of the word is meaningful to me, but I rarely hear pother Buddhists use it. Do any of you ever use it?

  • I am part of an online group made up of Zen Buddhists and they think it's silly. LOL! I suppose that it is "new age-y" and definitely Hindu...but I love it.
