I'm going to do a bit of shameless advertising, here:
check out the 6.30 club on FB: for once, it's a wonderfully uplifting thing to participate in....
http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-630-club/147226481986315Basically, anyone and everyone can join. All you need to do, is to take a moment at 6.30pm - wherever you are - to think of people who are spending any time, for any reason, on their own.
they might be bereaved, they might be newly separated or divorced, or simply on their own, through any given circumstance.
You yourself might be in that situation, through no fault of your own.
Christmas can be a lonely, depressing and isolating time for those in this situation, and the poignancy of this specific festival is painful to endure.
so, at 6.30, stop for a moment or two, and just know, you are not alone. Someone out there, is thinking of you, and sending you their good wishes.
They really are.
Folks set their clocks for this specific event, and they purposely send peace, compassion and loving kindness, 'out there' for anyone who might be needing it.
Many 'lonely' people have now met and become friends - and are not lonely, any more....
Spread the word - and join the club!
May the peaceful blessings and joy and wonderment of what this festival represents, be yours, and grow in your precious hearts,
With much love,
Me.

And it's 'the 6.30 club' not the '6.30 club'.
