I'm making a trip to the library, any books on Buddhism, meditation, Zen, or those sorts of things you could suggest? Thanks @all

  • You could try Stephen Batchelor's "Buddhism Without Beliefs", take a look at it. It's written in everyday language without the Buddhist jargon, which some people like, others don't. But he makes concepts like "no self" very understandable. He also rejects rebirth, so depending on how you feel about that, you may like the book, or decide to skip it. It's a good beginner book for a certain type of beginner, an agnostic or atheist beginner.
  • Buddha's Brain - outstanding read! Also "Work, Sex, Money" by Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche.
  • Thanks I'll look for those books they sound good :)
