Sometimes I feel overwhelmed and tired from working a lot - especially when I have to multi task and work long hours. What is the buddhist approach for dealing with this? What would the Buddha do? Seeking guidance. With metta.

Also learn to decompress the body and mind via relaxation.
Identify the stress in the body and practice ways of letting the stress go.
After work I think some walking meditation of 10 minutes followed by 20 minutes sitting will help. But that's just a technique to a certain extent like hot bath or body scan. The part of meditation that is a non-technique can be done any time and that is opening to the energies. Feeling them. Dropping the storyline and sitting with the energies.. Letting the thoughts come and go but not making a big deal of the messages critical or whatever..
The conclusion of the study was that some air traffic controllers were indeed stressed, and others were not; therefore being an air traffic controller is not inherently stressful on it's own side; that is an extremely 'Buddhist' conclusion.
Stress is internal, not external; we create it ourselves.
I still suffer with stress at times, but what I've found through Buddhism and A.A. helps me to deal with it more effectively.
