    what is 'what is this'?

Mu is an 'empty response' with no meaning, yet loaded with intention.

No because "Mu" is an experience, not an idea. :) All zen koans point away from ideas and to an indescribable experience. That is why they appear "kinda weird" but they actually aren't. :)
  • its the comment in the emptiness.
  • There is no one right answer to the "proper" understanding of and use of Koans. It is different from school to school in Zen Buddhism, and no one school has the copyright on "Koan". So there is room to explore here.
  • hahahaha.
  • I see this as a sense you could talk to a dog till you where blue in the face. But never grasp its exprerience.
  • Unless he could meditate on it.
