Zen

edited April 2006 in Buddhism Basics
I want to know more about Zen, koans, and general Buddhism.
What are some good books to help along the way?
The only book I have that I've been reading from is A BUDDHIST BIBLE (and the Dhammapada), but I'm looking for something else.

Anyone care to help?

thank you very much!

One of my favorites is Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind by Shunryu Suzuki Roshi. There's also the old favorite The Three Pillars of Zen by Phillip Kapleau Roshi. For general Buddhism, I like What the Buddha Taught by Walpole Rahula.
